Lisa Dean was born and raised on Grand Rapids.
She found that her passion for investing all started when she was in middle school. Her grandfather used to track his stocks on graph paper in his office and one day she was curious to know more. Her grandfather sat with her, explained what he was doing, and offered to let her have a try. She and her grandfather tracked her first stock purchase and sold it when they deemed appropriate. Instead of putting money into a savings account when she was a child she chose to invest it. From that moment she was hooked!
Throughout Lisa’s career she has spent time in big brokerage firms and banking institutions, but finds her true passion in working with clients in planning for their future.
Lisa works with clients whose overall goal is to plan for their future. This includes tiny babies who have college plans, teenagers looking to learn about investing, working individuals looking to plan for retirement, and those who are now ready to receive income from their investments. All of these individuals needs a plan in place to pursue their goals.
On a more personal level, Lisa is married to Brian and they have 2 young children, Harrison and Ellie. Her children keep her quite busy! She spends her free time gardening in their backyard and quilting when she has time.
